Career Experience

I began my tutoring career in college, tutoring student athletes in essay writing and other forms of composition. Shortly thereafter, I began also working at my college's writing center, where I worked with any student who needed help with their writing; from short response posts to graduate school application essays and term papers. Since graduating, I have continued tutoring whenever I could, often just helping friends and co-workers when there was no other tutoring work.

I Love Tutoring Because

since I began tutoring in 2005, I have met so many interesting people from all walks of life, and have learned a lot from them. I have met students from different cultures speaking many different languages, some of whom had experienced sociopolitical conflicts like I have, and many more who were struggling with the complexities of learning the English language, just as I did, those many years ago.
