Career Experience
I taught elementary school for 28 years, most of those in the third grade. I taught primarily in single grade classrooms, but had several combined classrooms of two grades.
I Love Tutoring Because
I really enjoy working one on one with students. It is an opportunity to focus on each student and give individualized instruction and feedback. This allows the student to work at their own pace, and allows the tutor to target areas of concern, address them quickly, and give lots of encouragement. Tutoring can help students acquire the tools they need to be more successful and confident in their learning.
