Career Experience
With 8 years of tutoring/teaching experience and a passion for working with high school and college students, I tutor SAT/ACT/GRE prep, AP courses/test prep, college essay composition, and all academic courses (apart from chemistry) offered in the U.S. from 4th-12th grade and 1st-2nd year of college (math, science, humanities based subjects, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian). I also teach guitar and music theory. I started teaching in 2013 at an international music education program for grades 6-12 and went on to work as an in-person tutor while living in Chile and Spain. Now, I live in Michigan where I tutor and teach remotely and in-person. I am passionate about learning, teaching, music, and painting. I Love Tutoring Because
I love tutoring because it is a dynamic process of mutual learning and growth for both teacher and student. Teaching allows me to share my knowledge and passion for various subjects, while also challenging me to learn new things, refine my understandings, and discover innovative ways to teach cornerstone concepts essential to obtaining a well-rounded education and opening our eyes to the amazing universe we inhabit. Though it can't be quantified, I can confidently say that I have learned just as much from my students as from my teachers over the years. My students consistently offer fresh perspectives and insights, showing me new ways to approach material I’ve taught for years. This exchange fuels the engine of learning, bringing out the best in both student and teacher. My commitment to learning and teaching will never wane because I believe that education is a lifelong journey. I am and always will be dedicated to guiding and accompanying my students on our paths through life.
