Career Experience
I majored in environmental studies in college, gaining experience in environmental issues and environmental science. Utilizing this background, I spent three years as an environmental educator at a summer camp teaching children of all ages gardening, sustainability, environmental science, and about food systems. When I was in college, I also tutored middle schoolers in English and essay writing, helping them to develop their skills, learn new styles of writing, and apply what they were learning to writing about topics of interest to them.
I Love Tutoring Because
I get to help students connect what they are learning with things they are passionate about. I also love connecting with students and helping them achieve their goals.
