Career Experience
I am currently retired after teaching high school chemistry for 37 years. I taught all levels including AP Chemistry. I conducted AP teacher workshops for many years and have graded AP exams. My high school years were split between a large, suburban high school and a small, rural high school. My career continues as I share with my grandkids the magic and mysteries of science.
I Love Tutoring Because
I am energized by helping students find their way through the language and logic of an abstract subject. The challenge and joy for me is to find that path for each student that will lead them out of the chemistry "jungle" into the "daylight." There is always a way!
