Career Experience
I am a passionate writer and educator with experience teaching English and literature for grade levels ranging from middle school to undergraduate. I have taught 8th grade English, developed curriculum for extracurricular creative writing programs, and assisted in teaching college-level literature courses. I have also served as a reader and substantive editor for several publications. I specialize in helping students with all stages of the writing process and essay development, from research and thesis conception to organization of ideas, clarity, and formatting.
I Love Tutoring Because
tutoring provides an opportunity to create lessons that cater to the unique needs of each learner. Writing can be overwhelming, but by breaking up the process into manageable parts, we can make the experience feel both manageable and fulfilling. Sometimes we just need someone to help us organize our thoughts before putting them on paper. Working one-on-one with students allows them to ask questions and understand concepts at their own pace. Whether a student is working on the first or fifth draft of an essay, I am eager to provide the writing support that they need.
