Career Experience
In college, I assisted my peers with essay writing and other homework help as a teacher's assistant in an upper-level philosophy class. After graduating, I worked as an educator for three years at a nature center. There, I taught preschool and homeschool classes on trail in a child-led, nature-focused classroom environment. I then worked managing volunteers for a local nonprofit. I've been a cooperative, mission-focused professional for many years, and I'm excited to help students of all ages.
I Love Tutoring Because
I love helping students! In college, I helped students write essays and analyze philosophical arguments. I have strong verbal and language skills, and I really enjoy breaking down arguments to understand what's really being said. As a former educator, I love watching the moment when a new concept "clicks" for someone. I've worked in non-traditional education settings, so I'm very familiar with learners of all kinds.
