Career Experience
I have served as a graduate teaching assistant in first-year college composition and junior-level literature courses. I have excelled in graduate classes on writing center theory/practice and composition & rhetoric. My research interests include composition pedagogy in first-year composition and rhetoric/argumentation. My editing experience includes line-editing manuscripts, including fact-checking and correcting style and usage.
I Love Tutoring Because
there is nothing more important than a student’s voice. Students have so much to offer the world, but sometimes they struggle to put their ideas into words. Seeing a student’s pride swell when they realize that their voice is wanted and needed in our collective conversation is my reward.
