Career Experience
My name is Joe L. and I was a former social studies teacher at my alma mater for many years. I taught a wide range of social studies subjects from Grades 7-12. These subjects include American History, American Government, World History, Advanced Placement European History, geography and economics. I currently enjoy reading non- fiction, and historical fiction books or novels. I have three high school scholar-athletes of my own and take pride in helping them with their homework and studies, especially social studies!
I Love Tutoring Because
helping students understand what they struggle to retain and comprehend is the heart of teaching and learning. To guide students in order to bridge the gap of understanding is truly a worthwhile and rewarding experience for both the learner and the teacher as well. I feel that I can truly help change society in a positive way tutoring one student at a time!
