Career Experience
I have always had a love of education, and I began teaching right out of college. I have been an elementary classroom teacher, a private preschool teacher, a piano teacher, and a tutor for all ages, including adults.
I Love Tutoring Because
tutoring allows me to help students with whatever they need in the moment. The fact that tutoring is student-focused rather than curriculum-focused is a huge appeal to me. Mostly, however, I love when I am able to help a student finally understand something with which they've been struggling. It's that "lightbulb moment" for me, and it's extremely fulfilling.
