R is a programming language used for statistics but it is not supported by the stat tutors or the programming tutors. I have tried several tutors who have turned me away. Keaton spent an hour showing me the ropes and we searched for answers together when neither of us knew. I appreciate his dedication to being helpfulness and his kindness.

I had questions on the test that I couldn't understand why they were wrong. Keaton did an excellent job slowly explaining everything to me and I was even right on 1/2 of the problems, so he confirmed that the test was wrong and not me! On the other two questions he helped me see the error in my ways, so I know I was wrong on them.

Mr. Keaton was very helpful in helping my understand more efficient ways to write and edit my code. I didn't have to confidence nor a firm understanding of function parameters and arguments but he took the time out to write and draw out different explanations to help me understand. He takes great seriousness in making sure that I didn't leave with my assignment only completed but making sure that I had confidence and a better comprehension in my weak areas. Definitely one of the best tutors I've had!

I am pretty sure they were patient, I felt silly when I realized what I was doing wrong and pointing me to the nice in-console help is amazing. I used to program Q-basic, I used the help file to learn. I have no idea why it didn't occur to me to figure out the help file.
