Career Experience
I have always loved reading, writing, and telling stories about people and events. My career began in news on the broadcast television side where I traveled domestically and abroad, producing taped and live television segments covering hard news, health, lifestyle, and entertainment. I developed lifestyle food-centric programs for nearly 10 years and have written for a national digital publication as a freelance writer. At present, I am also an assistant adjunct professor at a college teaching a comprehensive communication course that covers radio, film, and television, screenplay writing, elements of production, website design, and more.
I Love Tutoring Because
I like helping people unlock and break down the steps to writing and creating interesting stories, or simply understand writing rules. Every person can write, and often the confidence to trust the creative voice is what holds people back - both young and old alike. Also, English is a tough language to master in the written word (for most people), especially with all its grammar rules. It is so exciting and gratifying when I see clients crack the code and begin to trust their abilities and improve.
