I have been an educator for over 20 years. I love teaching diverse age groups (I have taught preschool through college-level students), but I am always literacy focused. I enjoy being a professor and helping students improve their literacy and communication skills. These skills are vital to every major and profession!
I Love Tutoring Because
there is nothing like connecting with a student and helping them achieve personal literacy goals. In a classroom, you give a broad overview. However, in tutoring, it is about maximizing a student's potential and helping a student succeed on a specific skill or project. Helping a student accomplish a personal goal is exciting and rewarding!
