I think it's good that the session can extend until I feel like I have gotten + understand an answer, however I do think the initial response should be straightforward. For example, I asked when the Gilded Age was and had to answer questions about my class before I got an answer to my question which is inconvenient for trying to get homework done quickly.

This tutor really helped me understand the reading of my material. I was stuck on what each piece was referring too. I need guidance on the context of each piece and the tutor helped me grasped the context of each piece. One thing I would of hoped for though was having the tutor typing his points on the textboard rather than in the chat. It would of helped me from scrolling back and forth on the chat.
