Career Experience
I worked for a research foundation as a peer mentor. When my contract ended, I ended up working for a university as a college assistant. As a peer mentor, I was able to support faculty in course redesign to improve student learning in STEM disciplines, and provide students with academic support in content disciplines by holding office hours for any questions they may have about various subject matters. As a college assistant, I was able to assist in instructional programs, including tutoring. I also entered and maintained departmental records, such as inventory control records, rosters, directories, and schedules.
