Career Experience
I tutored a few students in math and writing before attending college. While in college, I enjoyed serving as a lab assistant for introductory biology and chemistry classes. I also worked as a research assistant for a history professor, which, when combined with my English coursework, honed my research and communication skills. After graduating, I taught 7th and 8th grade science and 7th grade literature at a classical charter school for a year. My first year teaching was challenging but rewarding, and it convinced me to remain in the education field. Now I want to use my experience guiding young people as an online tutor.
