Career Experience
As a senior student in college, I wanted to take advantage of the opportunities that were available to me. I decided to explore different avenues within the English field. I am a writing tutor where I help any university student with any written work. I've done this for a year now. Along with this, I worked at a bookstore for two years. I familiarized myself with many English textbooks and databases through this. Lastly, beginning in the fall of 2024, I will begin an internship as a teaching assistant for ESL classes. This will provide me with thorough knowledge of ESL practices and teachings.
I Love Tutoring Because
I understand what it means to have an empathetic and supportive educator by one's side. There are many intimidating and difficult subjects within education that take constructive practice to master. Learning takes many forms, and as a tutor, I am flexible with how I approach individual needs. I always want to be someone students feel comfortable both struggling and excelling with. My biggest pride in tutoring is when students come out of a session with a belief in their own capabilities!
