Academics

If you want to spend your undergraduate years fully immersed in business concepts, Hult International Business School just might be the place for you. With campuses in Boston, London and San Francisco, Hult offers students “niche...courses,” “industry connection[s],” “flexibility,” and “entrepreneurship opportunities.” Further, undergrads benefit from having a nice “balance between practical and theoretical classes.” There’s also a “strong emphasis on innovation which help[s prepare] students for emerging markets.” As this undergrad states, “We are always encouraged to think creatively about business ideas and work on them as well.” What’s more, students like to tout that their professors come from the “business world and [thus] have a lot of experience to share.” Indeed, “they will bring real life case studies or issues in[to] class to discuss and solve based on the lesson.” Even better, “they know everyone [in the class] and [make]...time for everyone's questions and concerns.” Hult professors also strive to be “extremely accessible outside the classroom.” As this student succinctly sums up, “So far, my academic experience has been nothing but great and exciting and I can’t wait to go further.”

Student Body

There’s no denying that Hult attracts “globally and open minded individuals eager to understand the business environment.” Students here love how “incredibly diverse” their peers are and that they “come from all around the world.” As this undergrad boasts, “Most countries are represented in our student body, with no nationality having more than 8% of our total population. This is what makes [us] unique, as you can literally meet someone from Iceland, Australia, etc., and learn about their culture, listen to their language, and be friends with them.” Unsurprisingly, people here are also “very entrepreneurial” and many students are “running businesses or are in [the] process of launching them.” Perhaps even more impressive, “some [individuals] pay their tuition fees with [the income they earn].” Certainly, the students here “are a group of doers, always striving to apply the theory taught at Hult.” But just as vital, they also tend to be “easy going and [maintain] a good attitude.” Moreover, “everyone is friendly and are glad to help each other out.” We’ll give the last word to this undergrad who concludes, “I had never thought that it would be possible to bring together a group of students [with]...different perspectives on every issue, and to have them get along. Hult proved me wrong.”

Campus Life

Undergrads assert that there’s no typical day at Hult International Business School. “This is, in part, because every week there's some surprise offered...be it in-house speakers, free frozen yoghurt or therapy dogs prior to exam week!” Of course, there are a handful of annual or ongoing events as well. One well attended option is “Culture Day, where students from different countries will represent their nations and give others an overview of their gorgeous [homeland].” Students also look forward to “the end-of-the-year boat party that [the] school hosts on a cruise ship.” Understandably, they’re often in full anticipation of “Pancake Day” as well. Additionally, a number of Hult undergrads are busy with “ongoing internships.” The majority of students also participate in some of the many “clubs and societies” run by the school. We’ve been informed that some of the “most popular...are the Management and Consulting Club, the Chocolate Society, The Courage (student magazine) [and] the Football Team.” Another organization that generates tons of interest is the “Hult Founders Lab which is an incubator for startups.” And, finally, these future business executives also devote a lot of their spare time to simply “network[ing] with other students.”
