Academically, UMass's online MBA provides “great business analytics” and "excellent" healthcare administration programs, and “ranks high for physician leaders,” while also providing solid degrees in entrepreneurship, finance, and marketing. Professors “do a great job of mapping out and organizing coursework so that you know what to expect, and everything runs on a predictable schedule.” If anything, students find their teachers to be more available, with multiple respondents pointing to how fast they are to "engage students on the discussion board," and praising how "professors are able to comment on real-life experience instead of just being taken straight from the book." When it comes to providing feedback, professors "go above and beyond" as they are "extremely friendly and genuinely want everyone to succeed." To that end, professors are “usually understanding that most of us work long hours and give enough time to work on projects and study for exams.”
