Career Experience
My interest in cosmology led me to study physics and astronomy in university. During my graduate degree, I had the opportunity to teach an introductory astronomy lab. I enjoyed that experience so much that I decided to pursue a career in education. As soon as I began teaching in my own classroom, I knew that I had found my calling. I have been teaching and tutoring (primarily physics and math) in one form or another for more than twenty years, and I still love it!
I Love Tutoring Because
I love helping students tackle problems that they find challenging. When a student comes to understand the theory behind a problem, they become more confident and empowered to persevere in the face of difficult problems in the future. Being a part of that growth and showing students that they can solve tough problems is highly rewarding. I love physics and hope to inspire others by bringing my enthusiasm for the subject to each session. I also enjoy challenging myself to come up with clear, concise, and novel explanations of complicated concepts.
