Career Experience
Hi! My name is Eli, and I have run a university-level computer science tutor center for about two years. I am also a teaching assistant for lower-end classes, and I have proficient experience in several different coding languages including C/C++, Java, Python, Racket, and a small bit of SQL. I also have 7 years of experience making games with 3d game engines. I've taken all primary math classes up to Calculus 2, and have spent lots of time private tutoring elementary-level math to 4th and 5th graders! I have significant experience with online tutoring where I have tutored students in both C++ and Java.
I Love Tutoring Because
for as long as I can remember, I have loved helping people in whatever capacity is right for me. As I've grown older, my passion for helping has evolved into a deep passion for teaching and tutoring students of all ages. I love finding students' roadblocks and helping them to break through either quickly or slowly. But most importantly, I love giving students tools on how to solve problems themselves. Showing a student that they are not only capable but super smart is the greatest joy of tutoring for me.
