Career Experience
After finishing college I went to graduate school where my research explored defense against biological weapons. From there I became a research associate studying one of the leading causes of hospital-acquired disease (prior to the pandemic). While I was a researcher I also taught microbiology and molecular biology and mentored student researchers in the laboratory. I found mentoring and teaching very fulfilling.
